New Chances - The art of collaboration with Adam Bridgland

Adam Bridgland makes bold, brightly coloured work about the things we hold on to: seaside breaks, coach trips and the small rituals of British life.
His work hangs in the V&A and the British Museum. It also turns up in projects for companies such as YouTube, Soho House and Ace Hotel.
So which is the real work? Both, it turns out.
Adam will talk about how commissions, partnerships and working with industry have fed back into his own practice instead of pulling against it. He'll also show how someone else's brief can shake loose ideas you'd never have found on your own.
It's an honest look at what collaboration gives, what it asks of you and what it has taught him along the way.
