Beginner Underwater Hockey Session

Are you new to underwater hockey? This event is for you!

We'll meet at Standley Aquatic Center (admission is ~$5) to give you an introduction to the sport and work with you on the following:

1. Curling (a defensive move)
2. Flicking (passing the puck)
3. Stick Work (being able to move the puck around with agility)
4. Breath Work (so much of the game is about energy conservation)
5. Fitness (a twist on lap swim, we mix up surface swimming with underwater swimming)

After you arrive, look for us on the right as you enter (shallow end). If we're not gathering near the picnic tables, you'll see us in the water wearing large fins (and with glove and hockey stick on).
