Dialyzer is a static analysis tool for the BEAM which finds and reports bugs and bug vectors. Precisely what it does and why is often a source of confusion, so here I will trying to give you a pragmatic grounding in how to use and reason about Dialyzer effectively. > Talk 2: G. Castagna, G. Duboc - Elixir: What's new in theory and in practice Together with José Valim, Giuseppe and Guillame designed the gradual set-theoretic type system now being deployed in Elixir — the first system of its kind to reach a language in widespread industrial use. Giuseppe has spent two decades on semantic subtyping and set-theoretic types; Guillaume's PhD built the theoretical foundations and led the implementation in the Elixir compiler.
