AI Kickoff: What Are You Building With AI?

South Dade finally has its own AI meetup, and this is the first one.
Our question for the day: What are you building with AI? Bring a project, a question, or just your lunch.
The plan (about an hour)

Quick welcome and why South Dade needs its own AI group
Around the room: introduce yourself, what you do, and what you're building with AI. Please keep your share to 5 to 7 minutes so everyone gets a turn.
Open conversation: your AI journey, tools that are working, and where AI is headed for our work, businesses and community
Plan together: what should we dig into at future sessions?

The goal is simple: get to know each other and talk. Everyone gets a chance to share.
Want to show something? Bring your laptop. The room has a projector with HDMI. Keep it short today, then save the deep dive for Demo Day on Wed, Nov 18, where we'll have more time to walk through the details and complexities of what we're building and learn from one another.
Who should come: students, business owners, working professionals, and anyone AI-curious. No coding experience needed.
What to bring: your lunch, plus a laptop if you'd like to share.
Finding us: Miami Dade College, Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace, Homestead, FL 33030. We're in Building C, Room 202.
Parking for guests: no MDC decal needed. Park in the East Lot first, the Flagler Lot if it's full, and the West Lot for overflow. Please avoid arm-gated areas and FACULTY/STAFF spaces. Parking map: https://www.meetup.com/south-dade-ai-builders/photos/36249800/
Community guidelines: this is a community event on a public college campus, and Miami Dade College's code of conduct applies to everyone. Please treat one another with respect. Campus security is on site, and the MDC faculty host may ask anyone who is disruptive to leave.
Hosted by Claude B. Kershner IV, DBA, Professor of Leadership & Management Innovation at MDC Homestead.
