Sunday Countryside Pub Walk & Curry โ€“ Eathorpe, Wappenbury & Hunningham ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿพ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ›

Sunday 1 November | 2:00 pm

Join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon countryside walk through some lovely Warwickshire villages, with a well-earned pub stop along the way, followed by an optional curry to finish!

Weโ€™ll meet at Essence of India in Eathorpe (formerly The Plough), where weโ€™ll park up before setting off through the countryside towards Wappenbury and onwards to the lovely Red Lion in Hunningham.

Here weโ€™ll stop for a well-deserved pint (or whatever takes your fancy!), enjoy a good chat and relax for a while before setting off on the final stretch back to Eathorpe.

Weโ€™ll aim to leave the Red Lion at approximately 4:30 pm, arriving back at Essence of India around 5:00 pm, just in time for a drink and an optional curry for anyone wishing to stay.

Walk details ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ•

Distance: Approximately 4.5 miles
Pace: Leisurely and sociable โ€“ definitely not a route march!
Terrain: Relatively flat countryside paths
Dogs: Very welcome!
Meeting point: Essence of India, Eathorpe
Meeting time: 2:00 pm
Pub stop: The Red Lion, Hunningham
Finish: Approximately 5:00 pm, followed by optional curry

A few things to bear in mind ๐Ÿ”ฆ

As the clocks will have gone back, it will be getting dark towards the end of our walk, so please bring a torch or headtorch. Weโ€™ll be walking the final section around dusk or after dark.

Sensible walking footwear is recommended, as some countryside paths may be muddy at this time of year.

Good news for dog owners! ๐Ÿพ Iโ€™ve spoken directly to Essence of India and confirmed that the pub and restaurant are dog-friendly, so our four-legged companions are welcome to join us for the curry afterwards too!

The walk is intended to be relaxed, friendly and sociable, with plenty of opportunity to chat, enjoy the countryside and perhaps meet a few new faces.

Please let me know if youโ€™d like to stay for the curry afterwards, so I can get an idea of numbers.

Looking forward to a lovely Sunday afternoon! ๐Ÿ
