We all want a programming language which keeps us productive, while writing the best software that we can. Roc is a language which helps you do exactly that, through its compilation times, performance, type safety, error handling, and great compiler features.
I'm Niclas and have been using Roc in production for the past two years, while helping to build out the ecosystem for practical applications.

You'll see the why of Roc, how it helps you be more productive, and what it means to be “fast, friendly, and functional” through code examples and demos. We’ll look at Roc’s features and an Elm-like full-stack web framework called Joy, which already powers real web apps in the wild.
