Kent’s finest landscapes - villages, historic estates, Oast houses and deer

Join us for a wonderfully varied winter walk through some of Kent’s most beautiful countryside.

In the (hopefully!) clear mid-October air, we’ll pass through quiet orchards, gentle rolling hills and peaceful woodland, visiting distinctive historic estates along the way. The route follows winding streams, takes in traditional villages and offers far-reaching winter views, as well as two historic buildings set in contrasting landscapes.

We’ll finish in magnificent Knole Park, where we may spot wild deer, before ending the day with an optional, well-earned drink by a log fire in a recently refurbished local pub.

CANCELLING/REFUNDS

If you can no longer join the hike, please message the Host listed on here, and update your RSVP status to 'Not going', to allow others to take your place. If the hike is full, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', we will refund you, less the PayPal/Meetup fees. To obtain this, please email [email protected] after the event, with the email address you use on your PayPal account and transaction reference. If the hike is not full, unfortunately we will not be able to provide any refund.

We’ve run over 1,000 trips in the last 18 years, so you’re in good hands.
