Come join us for a hurling and camogie training session in the Bürgerpark! We'll be on the open pitch right next to the Darmstadt Diamonds stadium. Whether you already know hurling and camogie or you've never held a hurley in your life, this beginner-friendly session is open to anyone who fancies giving it a go!
After a warm-up together, we'll cover the basics of the game: how to lift the ball off the ground with your hurley and how to pass it to a teammate, either by hand or with the stick. These skills are quick to pick up, so in the second half we'll jump straight into a game!
No gear of your own? No problem! We'll have hurleys and helmets for you to borrow – all you need is some comfy sports clothes and a bit of enthusiasm.
