HSPs - Yoga & Collective meditation: How to Stay Happy, No Matter What

Wed 5 Aug · 10pm · Yellow Door Coffeehouse

Hello dear friends 🌿 This gathering is going to be a little different. We are happy to welcome a very special guest, Dada Dayashiilananda — a meditation and yoga teacher with more than 30 years of experience helping people cultivate greater inner balance, clarity, and purpose through practical spiritual wisdom. Together, we'll explore what it really means to stay happy — not because life is always easy, but because we learn how to relate to ourselves and the world with greater awareness, resilience, and compassion. During the evening, we'll reflect on: ♡ how to work with stress and difficult emotions instead of being overwhelmed by them, ♡ simple practices that help us cultivate a calmer, more balanced mind, ♡ what creates lasting happiness and a deeper sense of meaning, ♡ and how we can stay connected to our values and bring our best selves into our relationships and everyday life. As always, there will also be space to ask questions and have an open conversation about meditation, personal growth, relationships, purpose, or anything else that feels alive for you. What to expect? 🧘 6:00–7:00 PM — Gentle yoga, breathing practices, and guided meditation 💬 7:00–8:00 PM — An inspiring talk and discussion with Dada Dayashiilananda Whether you're completely new to meditation and yoga or have been practicing for years, you are warmly welcome just as you are. Our intention is to create a safe, inspiring, and authentic space for curious minds, creative souls, empaths, and anyone seeking greater peace, self-understanding, and meaningful connection with others. The practices we'll share are simple yet profound tools for developing greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and inner strength. By learning to connect more deeply with ourselves, we naturally become more present, compassionate, and able to contribute positively to the lives of those around us. Please come in comfortable clothes if you'd like to join the yoga practice, though you're also welcome to attend just for the talk. Participation Free for students. For everyone else, we invite a suggested donation of 15 CAD to help cover the costs of the event. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you have time to settle into the space. We would love to share this evening with you. Come as you are, take a moment to slow down, and enjoy an evening of movement, meditation, meaningful conversation, and genuine connection. 🌿
