D&D Amsterdam & League of Fabled Pursuits Collab Event

\\ PLEASE READ ALL OF THE TEXT BELOW \ Well met, adventurers! This time around we are partnering up with another D&D group, the League of Fabled Pursuits! The League of Fabled Pursuits is an Amsterdam-based D&D community. They run casual, regular one shots, keeping character progression from adventure to adventure. Their community welcomes all levels of experience, and run their games at various locations across Amsterdam. Their community shares a setting called The Known Worlds - a place where gigantic Titans roam the map, each with a unique land and history. League DMs can choose to make and run their own Titan, so the world keeps expanding. 2 years and 177 sessions, and they’re still going strong! You MUST RSVP to the event on Meetup. RSVP's open 2 weeks before the event. Be on time (Especially new players & groups) Find one of the organizers on your arrival. You'll then be pointed to your table, or get assigned to a game if you don’t have one yet. DUNGEON MASTERS The majority of the DMs for this event will be provided by the League of Fabled Pursuits. We also have a collection of one-page adventures available which anyone with a basic grasp of the rules can use as a framework to build a game around! SCHEDULE Please arrive before 14:00. If you arrive late, it may not be possible to find you a game. 13:00 - Venue opens & Organizers start setting up 13:30 - Player/DM Arrival time & game sign-up 14:00 - The Speech 14:05 - Game on! 18:30 - The event officially ends. We must leave the venue as they need to get their space ready for any events they might have during the evening. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH GAME I AM IN? We will post a game schedule in the event chat on Meetup one week before the event. Your DM might try to contact you via Meetup before the event so please, under "Contacts", change your privacy settings to "Member of my groups only" so you can receive messages from your DM: www.meetup.com/account/privacy I'VE NEVER PLAYED BEFORE, CAN I JOIN? YES! No prior experience is needed, though we'd ask you to arrive at 13:30 so that someone can help you understand a basic character sheet. We strive to have beginner-friendly games at every event. WHAT DO I HAVE TO BRING? Just a character to play, and maybe some dice if you have them. You can find the rules for creating a League character here: League Character Creation Rules GAMEPLAY GUIDELINES DM has final say, don’t argue with your Dungeon Master. Any arguments can be settled after your game. Respect your fellow players and don't invade their personal space without consent. Play collaboratively, there are enough monsters trying to kill your character already. Recommended: NO PvP, NO in-game stealing, etc. We will not tolerate discrimination or disrespectful behavior of any kind. Prohibited topics include (but are not limited to): Sexism, sexual violence & content of any kind, excessive graphic violence, verbal violence, content or behavior that discriminates or marginalizes people based on personal attributes such as gender, race, religion, political views, age, disability, medical or genetic conditions, etc. If you do encounter any inappropriate behavior, please don’t hesitate to contact one of the event organizers and allow them to deal with the situation. VENUES AND MONEY MATTERS The venues rely on us spending on food and drink while we are there. Our continued use of the venues is dependent upon it. i.e. if you're thinking of having lunch at the venue, please do!
