Flower Planting at Muench Bar

We will be planting perennial flowers around the Muench Bar planting site. These flowers will help stabilize the soil and act as a buffer around the newly planted trees and shrubs in this area. This project has been in partnership with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, and made possible by funding from the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation.

We will meet at the Muench Bar trailhead near Allard Crescent at 2:00pm, then we will walk over to the site together. There is limited parking along Allard Crescent, and please make sure to keep the bike lane clear.

This event is rain or shine so please wear layers and dress for the weather, and hiking or rubber boots are recommended. No prior experience is necessary and we will provide tools and gloves, so come on out and enjoy spending time in nature and helping your local ecosystem!
