September Full Moon Bonfire

The days are shorter, school has begun, and there's an evening chill... \cue Summers Over. Choose to take advantage of the last bit of warm weather and connect with your quiet within at our next community Beach Full Moon Bonfire! Meet like-minded people while enjoying mindful movement, meditation, sound healing, and a sharing circle. We aim to create a peaceful yet fun environment to be introspective and safe. Our ancestors in Kemet (ancient Egypt) and across the diaspora—the Americas, Caribbean, etc —gathered during the full moon to focus inward, amplify intentions, release burdens, spread love, and feel empowered. Let’s honor their legacy by reclaiming these practices, connecting with nature, and building community. Feel free to bring: A journal/pen Warm clothing/layers Blanket(s), yoga mat and/or beach chair Optional Contributions: Firewood, food/drink offering, or a $5-$10 donation to support the event are welcome, though not required.
