Informal Filmmakers Meetup & Drinks

We currently meet at Forever Lounge in Causeway Bay (near Tin Hau MTR station) on the first Sunday of every month. The emphasis of our gatherings is always on the creative, artistic, and collaborative aspects of filmmaking. Typically, we begin with informal introductions, where you will have the opportunity to talk about yourself and your background, experiences and/or goals. Your host Ben will then usually introduce a structured discussion on a new topic (ranging from screenwriting to blocking or lighting a scene). We will then wrap up by discussing any projects we are working on or would like to get started. All are welcome, no experience or sign-up is necessary. Questions and opinions are always encouraged. If you have any materials (scripts, showreels, raw/edited footage, etc.) that you would like to share, please feel free to bring it along, but all you will need is enthusiasm and confidence!
