Join us for a casual stroll around Newbury town centre. From the station we will be heading towards St Nicholas Church, then will head westward out town along the Kennet and Avon Canal. We will cross over the Monkey Bridge ( no real monkeys in sight unfortunately) and head back to town through Northcroft park . Once back in town, we will visit the West Berkshire Museum to learn a bit about the history of Newbury. After the museum we will head towards Shaw House through Victoria park. Unfortunately the house will be closed on the day of the event ,but it is still a lovely building to walk beside. After passing Shaw house we will head back to town, to explore the Artisan Market and likely to pick up some street food from the vendors. Before heading back to station , we have a quick visit to the Delphic Brewery Co. to taste some of the local beers ( they also sell nice local cider and non-alcoholic drinks too) The entire few hours will be casual and we can have other quick stops for coffee or something similar. The aim is to catch up and have a few hours together , meeting new people and seeing familiar faces. Feel free to message me if there's any questions about the event.
