Takashi Wakasugi - Wabi Sabi Comedy

Winner Director’s Choice Award 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Nominee Most Outstanding Show 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival

As seen on The Gala, Thank God You’re Here, Guy Montgomery’s Guy-Mont Spelling Bee and Taskmaster Australia.

Wabi-sabi (侘び寂び) is a Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness.

Waka believes the concept of Wabi-sabi is the great way to make people happy. And he also thinks it might connect and adapt to his comedy.

In this show you will find laughs and happiness with his Wabi-Sabi Comedy. Arigato! Big bow.

“Abundant pleasure… It’s a genuine joy to be insulted by him.” ★★★★ The Scotsman
