Windy Active Kids is a free community football and physical activity pilot delivered by WINDY SPORT GROUP LTD for boys and girls aged 10–13 in Thurrock.
The pilot is designed to help children stay active, build confidence, make friends, enjoy football and experience being part of a team in a safe and supportive community environment.
There are 16 places available.
The same child must attend both sessions:
Friday 30 October 2026
15:00–16:00
Saturday 7 November 2026
15:00–16:00
On-site registration opens at 14:30 before both sessions.
Venue:
Orsett Heath Academy
Stanford Road
Grays
RM16 4DG
The pilot is for non-academy players only. Children currently signed to a professional football academy cannot apply to participate.
Both sessions will be delivered on an outdoor Astro pitch by three FA-accredited, DBS-cleared coaches with safeguarding-led arrangements.
Participants must register online and receive confirmation of an accepted place before attending. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place, and walk-in participation is not available.
Windy Sport Group fully funds this pilot, and attendance is free.
