This is a big penywort pick.

BIG because a lot of Severn Trent staff are attending on an Environmental Leave day.

And BIG because there is a few hundred metres of brook totally full of penywort.

The Sileby community have tecently cleared the brook through Sileby. Environment Agency are currently clearing skip loads of silt after the village. And we are now going to clear the penywort blockage from the last bit before the water flows into the Soar at the marina.

We will all be land based - there isnt much water!

Parking at the cricket club, a short walk away.

50+ Severn Trent staff signed up.

8am start, 12 noon finish. But come and join and leave when you can.

Please check out the facebook event that has all the details needed. Click going so that Amy knows to expect you, as well as signing up to this task.
