The Castle Climbing Centre is a fantastic place to visit in Manor House. There's a vegetarian/vegan cafe, loads of cycle parking, plenty of walls to explore and a lovely community garden.

This session will be bouldering only. And if it is your first time, I can get up to five people in for free each month with my membership!

Please register by 20:00 the day before, so I know who to expect.

Otherwise, entry costs £16.50 + £3 registration fee for first visit and shoe hire £4, with discounted access for regular climbers.

PLEASE register before you come!

Bouldering is the easiest way to try climbing for the first time, but you need to register with the Castle Climbing Centre first.

Go to the First Visit page (https://www.castle-climbing.co.uk/first-visit) and follow the steps. You'll find information about what to wear, bring, and about the centre there too.

You will need to watch the induction video and complete a disclaimer form on the centre's website. It helps to complete this before you visit to save time checking in, but you can also do it at reception.

If you've climbed elsewhere, or not visited the Castle for a long time, you may still need to complete forms, so please check that page. (If you have problems, you can fill things in at reception.)

We'll start with a warm up and begin climbing properly after about 20min, for a couple of hours. The centre closes at 10pm weekdays, 8pm weekends, stay for as long as you want, but we'll probably run out of energy before then!

If you want to try climbing with some friends, but can't do the date of this session, say in the comments what days/times you prefer and we'll try to schedule the next one so you can come.
