River maintenance from the Rowing Club

As a starter for the winter program of work, a Saturday session. Come and joon when you can after parkrin. And leave when you want.

We will pick penywort around Freemans Meadow Lock, opposite the Foxes football ground.

Also litter picking on the island there - lots of stuff has washed up on previous higher water levels.

And cutting back overhanging bushes that snag litter and penywort which build into bigger obstructions.
