WALX of Wellbeing are free walks led by qualified volunteer walk leaders, previously known as Walking for Health Walks these are a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the green spaces and make new friends. Free WALX of Wellbeing - Thamesmead Library at The Nest Please book your session prior to walking, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need any help. Meeting Day and Time: Tuesday 10.00am Meeting Point: Thamesmead Library, The Nest in Cygnet Square, SE2 9FA Parking: Free parking on Yarnton Way and Seacourt Road by Willow Bank Primary school. Buses: 177, 229, 244, 301, 401, B11 Toilet and Refreshments available: Yes Description of the Walk: From the Library the WALX Guide will lead you through one of 3 routes. Choosing from the walk to the River Thames, Lesnes Abbey or Southmere Lake. Approximately 1.5-2.0 miles. After the walk, you are warmly invited to join us in the library for a coffee or tea and biscuits for which there is nominal 50p charge.
