Get crafty: quilt painting

A few of us have signed up for an afternoon of craft, learning the Japanese art of kinusaiga.

Give old fabrics a new lease of life in this relaxing, creative workshop running straight after November's Acomb Community Clothes Swap.

Using a simple no-sew technique, you’ll create your own beautiful piece of textured artwork by layering and tucking fabric into a design — no sewing or artistic experience needed!

For those taking part in the morning Acomb Clothes Swap task (https://www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/helping-out-at-acomb-community-clothes-swap-fb5979af-7473-448a-a947-60472d40920d) there should be plenty of time to grab a bite to eat at a local Acomb eatery before the crafting begins.

The workshop is £20 and you'll need to book your own ticket in advance if you're coming.
