Clearing the garden of the Battersea Park Monk

Tonight we have a task for a very special cause. Some of you might know that there is a Buddhist monk who lives in Battersea Park. He helped build the famous Peace Pagoda in the 80s and cares for it everyday as well as leading ceremonies there. He lives not far away in a house and temple in the middle of the park. He is struggling to maintain the space there and has been the subject of some antisocial behaviour. We are going to help out in the garden with some clearing and shifting jobs. This is a great opportunity to discover a hidden gem in Battersea and to help out somewhere that means a lot for so many. Please bring gloves if you have them. We have a back marker so nobody is let behind.We have loos and changing facilities at our start point but nowhere to leave bags. If you have any questions don't hesitate to let me know! All welcome.
