Written for LGBTQ+ people in midlife and beyond, the book addresses the lasting impact of growing up through stigma, silence, the AIDS crisis and Section 28. Still Here! Still Queer! Now What? asks what becomes possible when a generation that learned how to survive begins to focus on flourishing.

Blending personal reflection, original coaching frameworks and conversations with more than 100 LGBTQ+ people, Paul Taylor-Pitt explores authenticity, mortality, resilience, shame, pleasure, belonging and transformation. Practical tools including the Queer Wheel of Mid-Life, the Queer Wholeness Method and the Queer Mid-Life Manifesto, help readers take stock and create a more deliberate next chapter.

The book arrives at a moment when queer midlife remains strikingly absent from public conversation. It offers both an affirming resource and a cultural intervention: making visible the lives, knowledge and aspirations of a generation too often overlooked.

Taylor-Pitt says: “This is a celebration that we are still here, still queer and able to live with renewed purpose and pride.”

Dr Paul Taylor-Pitt is an Organisation Development consultant, coach, facilitator, activist and writer with more than 30 years’ experience supporting people and systems through change. He hosts the Still Here! Still Queer! Now What? podcast and lives in London with his husband.
