If you like Boyz n the Hood…
If you like This is England…
If you like Tyrannosaur…
…then you'll know ‘like’ is a weird word to use because this month's feature film is powerful viewing, a New Zealand film about domestic and gang violence. We are partnering with local charity SATEDA in support of victims of domestic abuse against women, and we are proud to be hosting the premiere of their excellent short film ‘Hear Her’. Donations are welcome when you book, or cash on the night. Nov 25th is White Ribbon Day and the beginning of SATEDA'S 16 Days of Activism, so you are encouraged to wear a white ribbon in support (if you wish).
Admission is £5 (+ booking fee). As usual, authentic Napolitana pizzas are available from Casa Pizzeria when you book. £15 for PIZZA & A MOVIE is the best deal in town and that's why everyone goes for it. (For gluten-free, please contact us directly.)
Recommended age 16+ (domestic violence, gang violence and discriminatory language)
