A beginner-friendly trans-centred pole class for people who identify as masc.

With this club we want to create more non-intoxication-based queer community spaces that invite others where they may not always feel welcome. So come ready to explore and learn and meet other people willing to do the same.

We will be taking some photography of the session to use on socials (with consent of course), so please let us know if you don't want to be included.

FAQs below and more information available on our Instagram - @Masc+ Pole Club

Who is this for? While this is a space for masc-presenting people as a focus, the priority is queer community over aesthetics so if you don’t identify with “masc” you are of course still welcome, that’s what the plus is for.

What should I wear? Beginner levels do not require full body pole contact so anything you are comfortable in where your legs and arms are out – from a tshirt and football shorts to a bikini. Many moves will be easier with armpit or inner thigh skin contact, but the priority is you feeling comfortable.

Can I bind to class? Yes, please wear what you are comfortable in. It is of course not advisable to bind while exercising as it severely restricts movement, so if you do choose to please take everything at your own pace. There will be no judgement for anyone sitting out moves for any reason.

Who is instructing? Cat Lee is a non-binary pole instructor with 10+ yrs experience (@thepolecat)

Where is the venue? Ecole de Pole in Stockwell, we will be in Studio 1 (Stockwell Room)

What are the facilities? There are “male” and “female” bathrooms for changing. There are gender neutral accessible toilets as well.

Is the venue accessible? We unfortunately can’t guarantee step free access due to the lift being out of use intermittently, we are working to get this resolved.
