Queer Open Decks - Special FLINTA Edition

Queer Open Decks is a free support and networking event for LGBTQ+ DJs. Started as a small meet up at the London LGBTQ+ Centre in 2022, we are now a growing community of genre-fluid LGBTQ+ DJs meeting monthly.

This month, Housewerk Club takes over, bringing you a very special edition of Queer Open Decks for women and FLINTA DJs at any level to connect and play out.

BEGINNER WORKSHOP
We begin with a beginner DJ workshop at 6:30pm, with resident Housewerk babes Yaz and RacHell as your friendly hosts here to help you get comfortable behind the decks. If you don't have music prepared, you're more than welcome to use one of our USBs so you can simply come along and have a go! No experience necessary.

OPEN DECKS
After the beginner session, we'll continue with our usual open decks format. These will be 30-minute slots and cannot be booked in advance. Instead, please arrive by 7:00pm to sign up in person, as sign ups will close at 7:30pm.

Slots available:

7:30–8:00pm
8:00–8:30pm
8:30–9:00pm
9:00–9:30pm
9:30–10:00pm
10:00–10:30pm

Equipment details: We are able to accommodate both Vinyl, CDJs & Digital DJS (using either USB or laptops - with or without controllers).

Venue details: We will be in the street-level bar at Dalston Superstore. Full access details are available on Dalston Superstore's website.

Whether you’ve been DJing for years or you're stepping behind the decks for the very first time, we'd love to see you there!
