Stories in the Streets : North Beach

Come walk the streets of San Francisco with me and my friend Alex Pellegrini, an 81-year-old San Francisco native, author, and artist who has spent his life in this city.

Alex has decades of stories, memories, and history to share about the San Francisco he’s known and loved. I’ll be sharing how I see and photograph the city today - what catches my eye, how I look for a photograph, and all the little things I’ve learned from spending countless hours wandering these streets with my camera.

Together, we’ll explore some of our favorite corners, look a little closer at the city around us, and discover how two people from very different generations experience the same streets.

This isn’t a traditional history tour or a photography workshop. You don’t need a fancy camera just bring your curiosity, comfortable walking shoes, and a love for our city.
