Gracey's Presents is an intimate concert series spotlighting local Chicago artists and genre-pushing music. For this edition, we welcome Karl Kirkpatrick and Nora Kenny!

Karl Kirkpatrick is a Chicago-based singersongwriter at the crossroads of Indie Rock and Americana. Ranging between the expressiveness of Jeff Buckley and the kick of The Replacements , Karl and the band (Henry Carpender, Phin Gleber, and Aval Stanley) have spent the past few years playing in Chicago DIY scenes and venues alike. His most recent release, an EP titled “momentum”, employs a garage band assembly to explore themes of love and escapism in a world rolling downhill.

Chicago-based singer-songwriter Nora Kenny crafts evocative indie folk and alt-country music characterized by heartfelt lyricism and warm acoustic instrumentation. Her work, including the EP Stop Hangin' On Me, balances raw vulnerability with melodic hooks reminiscent of classic Americana storytelling. Emerging strongly within the independent touring circuit, she stands out for her magnetic and unpredictable stage presence.
