Mahjong and Bites: Inspired by Hong Kong-Style Cafe Vol. 2

Join Mo Pai Mahjong Club for an afternoon of mahjong and nostalgic cha chaan teng-inspired bites in The Clubhouse while we listen to a curated playlist, snack, sip, and shuffle tiles. This event is back by popular demand with an updated menu.

We are partnering with LauLauMeow of Péng Yǒu for a modern twist on Hong Kong-style cafe classics.

Details:
🀄️ Admission includes a dedicated playing seat for 3 hours, a welcome snack, 3 courses consisting of 5 small bites, dessert, plus drinks brought to your table during gameplay so you never have to get up.
Welcome Snack: Curry Cashew Popcorn
First Course: Mini Ovaltine-Topped Bolo Bao (Pineapple Bun) w/ French Butter + Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea
Second Course: Curry Fish Ball Mochi + Petite Pan-Fried Pork Chop Bun
Third Course: Gai Pie (Chicken Pie w/ Mushrooms) + Fresh Coconut Gai Tong (Clear Chicken Broth)
Dessert: TBD, but imagine the flavors of Hong Kong-style French toast (hello, condensed milk!)
Drink Options: Yuenyeung (Coffee and Milk Tea), Lemon Tea
🀄️ Please indicate your playing level in the questionnaire to help with assigned seating. We will have competitive tables playing for points, but are also opening it up to beginners. (Visual handouts will be provided.)

🀄️ Tickets are not sold at the door. Clicking "Going" in the RSVP does not guarantee admission. You must purchase a ticket via Venmo (Zelle also available upon request).
