October is here and as the leaves begin to fall from the trees and a chill arrives in the air Greenpoint prepares once again for the return of the Ghost of Robert Moses and the Annual Calyer Triangle Halloween Acclamation!
We’re excited to celebrate our FIFTH year marking the start of the Halloween season here in the neighborhood while also being thoroughly spooked at the inexorable march of time.
We’ll be joined by a number of happy haunts who will help us conjure up the Calyer Triangle while the veil is thin; the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance and North Brooklyn Open Streets, live music courtesy of Gawain and the Green Knight, a public reading of E. Nesbit’s “John Charrington’s Wedding” by Thomas Moore, and live pumpkin carving by local artist Iain Burke.
Happy Halloween!!
