Austin's biggest and longest-running Día de los Muertos celebration is back for its 43rd year. It starts with a Grand Procession of costumes, floats, live music, dancers, and lowriders, with a 2026 special section built around la ofrenda: artist-made altar pieces carried through the parade and assembled on the festival stage. Afterward, the street festival brings hands-on art activities, traditional food, live performances, and the Muertos Mercado with 20+ local artists and makers
This event is not hosted by Partiful. It is an event we recommend, hosted by Mexic-Arte Museum. Find more details at the link above.
