Inspired by Maria Taniguchi’s exploration of form, repetition and space, participants will work with white air dry clay to build and shape an imagined form of their own. Through repetition, layering, texture and touch, simple elements come together to create something new.

About Yen Chua

Yen Chua, AThR, is an artist, registered art therapist, and educator based in Singapore. She holds a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and has about two decades of experience across clinical, educational, and community settings. She works at a private hospital, lectures at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and LASALLE College of the Arts, and facilitates creative programmes for children, adolescents, and adults.

Her practice explores the intersection of contemporary art, creativity, and wellbeing. She designs workshops that invite participants to engage with materials, embrace experimentation, and discover personal meaning through the creative process.

Only registered participants are allowed to attend this workshop.
Please arrive early, or at least 5 minutes before for registration.
The programme will start promptly at the time stated.
Each ticket will only admit only 1 participant.
This workshop ticket includes admission to Maria Taniguchi: Afterimage. Participants do not need to purchase tickets to the exhibition to experience this workshop.
