Your favourite illegimate cousin (FFIGS) is back with a bigger helping of their popular A Tactile & Gastronomical Encounter experience. This time, dynamic curation duo Deepag and Daryl are paying homage to Golden Mile's roots as a Thai enclave, with a curation of film-snack pairings inspired by spirit and place. SIDE B: GOLDEN MILE collects shorts that feature the historic locale, and snacks that go well with them!

In an old cinema, The Lion City (1960), Cathay-Keris's first Chinese film, plays to a dwindling audience. An homage to Tsai Ming-liang’s Goodbye, Dragon Inn acts as an ode to the ghosts and sanctity of the cinematic space.
Metabolist Regeneration of a Dementia (2019) by Jerome Ng Xin Hao 11’

About FFIGS
FFIGS is a co-created space, led by a non-hierarchical collective of programmers, artists, and community-builders. Like the fig fruit—formed through the nutrients of a digested wasp—FFIGS is oppositional yet nourishing. Its goal is to resist institutional mediation and instead foster intimacy, collective study, and shared political imagination around cinema.
