For almost 80 years, Kyoto University of Foreign Studies has continued to grow through new generations, new perspectives, and new ideas. As the world changes, so do the people and communities within it. “Change” represents transformation in all forms, whether personal, cultural, creative, technological, or global. Every idea, experience, and connection has the power to shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. At this year’s 2nd TEDxKUFS, we invite speakers and audiences to explore the meaning of change through their own stories, challenges, and perspectives. From small shifts in mindset to changes that impact communities and society, this theme encourages us to reflect on how change influences our lives and where it may lead us next. Note: Admission for the event itself is free. However, tickets will need to be purchased for the event's afterparty, as it is a collaborative effort with a student-led organization called CoLoRe that includes a buffet/catering-style dinner with meals based on the speaker's home countries. (Please bring your student ID or any proof that you are a student to be given a discount. If it is discovered that the proof is illegetimate/fake, you will have to pay the regular adult fee for the dinner.
