What's Happening?

Need queer-affirming information on legacy & legal planning for yourself, your partner & your family? Come listen to our industry professionals discuss why it matters for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples & families to prioritise these decisions.

The session will include brief presentations by each speaker, followed by a panel discussion with a Q & A segment.

Who's Presenting?

Bozy Lu, Volunteer Lawyer, Same But Different

Bozy's greatest joys in life are lawyering and laughing. Legal advice is her love language and she's passionate about spreading legal awareness through fun(ny) modes such as improvised comedy / theatre. While she is none the wiser when it comes to love per se, she is a firm believer and advocate for the freedom to love. Bozy volunteers with Same But Different, a LGBTQ+ legal resource for couples and families in the community. She is also a practising lawyer at Han & Lu Law Chambers LLP.

Firmin Silvester Lee, ESP, Financial Consultant

Firmin spent 13 years as a teacher, including years living and teaching in Thailand, before turning that same patience and clarity toward financial planning. Today he helps people whose lives don't fit the template Singapore's legal and financial defaults were built around.

His work focuses on singles, the LGBTQ+ community and Thai expats in Singapore, where intestacy rules, CPF nominations and HDB eligibility often leave chosen families unprotected. His core belief runs against the grain: people without a spouse or children need more planning, not less, because no default exists to speak for them.

Through wills, nominations and legacy planning, Firmin makes sure every client's wishes are written down and honoured.
