Today, it is home to spontaneous flora that has found its way into the cracks in the bricks and concrete, as well as to the people who live there and create alternatives to what this city has to offer. Paced by the constant back and forth between the political and the poetic, between the macroscopic and the microscopic, ‘To live in the cracks’ unfolds through the interweaving of 16mm images, narratives and soundcomposition inspired by the building and the plants.
