Join us for the ultimate festive extravaganza! Adapting the time-honored fairytale “Pinocchio” originally written by Italian author Carlo Collodi and made famous by the 1940 Disney movie, Pinocchio is one of the most recognised characters in literary history. Hong Kong Players is proud to present its adaptation of Pinocchio for this year’s Christmas Panto! When a pair of magical fairies happen upon Geppetto, the lonely woodworker looking for a family, they decide to work their magic to grant his wish. However, they mistakenly bring one of his puppets to life! Can Geppetto learn how to be a parent to his new wooden child, or will Pinocchio be lured away by the temptations of the outside world? This year’s Panto promises to be full of fun and dames while we ring in the 2026 Christmas season! ​ For those unfamiliar with the Panto… it is a British Christmas theatre tradition. The Christmas Pantomime is a show based on fairytales featuring energetic musical numbers, dames in outrageous costumes and ribald jokes to entertain family audiences! Children will love the comedic story and audience interaction. Adults can laugh at the sly jokes and references. There’s something for everyone to enjoy! Hong Kong Players reserves the right of final decision in case of any dispute. Concession Tickets: Seniors over 65 years full time students are eligible to purchase a Concession Ticket In case of Black Rain or T8+ signals being hoisted two hours before the event, the show will be cancelled and Hong Kong Players will be in touch via the ticket purchasers with rescheduling or refund arrangements within 24 hours. In case of Amber, Red or T1, T3 signals being hoisted, the show will go ahead as scheduled unless otherwise notified. It can be a hard time of year for those in need.
