A new dark comedy by Candice Moore about Hollywood legend Judy Garland, famous for playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and her mother, Ethel. They had a notoriously toxic relationship. Ethel was the ultimate stage mother whom Judy called “the real Wicked Witch of the West.” But was she? A great storyteller, Judy bent and stretched facts to suit herself. She was also an addict, experiencing tremendous highs and lows in her life. Set in 1963 during the filming of her ill-fated TV show, The Judy Garland Show, Ethel returns from the dead to set the record straight. Featuring classic songs from Judy's Hollywood movies.
