Penguinmarket Records 20th Anniversary｜KYOTO

インストゥルメンタルミュージックを主軸とするインディペンデントレーベル Penguinmarket Records が設立20周年の記念ライブ。「Music has no borders」をステートメントに掲げ、2020年に京都に本拠地を移し、今回はその節目を刻む京都公演は、LIVEは京都で活動するレーベル所属アーティストの4組、DJも京都とオール京都編成でお届けします。 ドラマー・粉川心が率いる SHIN KOKAWA sublime band。叙情的な歌声とギターアンサンブルの dry river string、KYOTOGRAPHIE、Kyotophonieなど京都のイベントに出演し、独自の音響世界を切り拓く Yasutaka Okada。京都を中心に活動する、デジタル、テクノロジー、クリエイティブを融合させたコミュニティ・アート集団SPEKTRAや PsysExでも活動するオーディオヴィジュアルアーティスト Junichi Akagawa が集結。 DJには京都で活動する RAIJIN と、同じく今年で20周年を迎える「DoitJAZZ!」より Masaki Tamura が参加。 京都から世界へと音楽を届けるレーベルの現在地を、ぜひ体感してください。 —————— This concert marks the 20th anniversary of Penguinmarket Records, an independent label specializing in instrumental music. Guided by the motto "Music has no borders," the label relocated its base to Kyoto in 2020; this milestone event features an all-Kyoto lineup, showcasing four label-affiliated live acts active in the city alongside local DJs. The lineup includes the SHIN KOKAWA sublime band, led by drummer Shin Kokawa; dry river string, known for their lyrical vocals and guitar ensemble; Yasutaka Okada, who crafts a unique sonic world and has performed at Kyoto events such as KYOTOGRAPHIE and Kyotophonie; and audiovisual artist Junichi Akagawa, a member of the community-art collective SPEKTRA (which fuses digital technology and creativity) and the project PsysEx. Joining on the decks are Kyoto-based DJ RAIJIN and Masaki Tamura from "DoitJAZZ!"—a group that is also celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
