QUIVR in collaboration w/ Shandy Present: Jamz Supernova (UK) & Tash LC (UK) Two of the UK’s most exciting broadcasters and club selectors are packing their records, crossing the pond and touching down in Meanjin for one very special double-header. QUIVR's two dance floors (Laneway & Sound Room) and an extended 3am licence sets stage for a 3hr b2b with Jamz Supernova & Tash LC alongside a local lineup of honeys across the stages: Eyeaam, Felix, nejmere, Paff, Peachtings, Tuff Guy & Sweaty Baby ++ VOiid Collective roving performances. QUIVR and Shandy are joining forces for a night of global club sounds, broken beats, underground bass and all manner of delicious sonic debauchery. Expect boundary-pushing selections, big energy, and a dancefloor that refuses to behave itself. JAMZ SUPERNOVA Jamz Supernova uses sonics to tell a story. A true multi-faceted creative force, she is a label head, radio host, DJ, podcaster, and tastemaker with over a decade in broadcasting. Known for selecting sounds that span subcultures, she brings the intimacy of community radio directly to the dancefloor. Alongside her award-winning Saturday daytime show on BBC 6 Music, Jamz heads up the seminal, award-nominated label Future Bounce. Expect an eclectic, vibrant mix of broken beat, UK funky, bass, and techno—the exact energy that has made her a mainstay at festivals like We Out Here and All Points East. TASH LC London-based DJ, broadcaster, and Club Yeke label boss Tash LC has established herself as one of the most essential selectors pushing global club music. A staple on platforms like Kiss FM and heavily rooted in the underground broadcasting community, Tash is renowned for her fierce, high-energy sets. She seamlessly blends Kuduro, Gqom, Dancehall, and underground African rhythms with heavy UK club frequencies, bringing a percussive heat to the room that commands movement. ACCESS The venue is wheelchair accessible, but some parts of the venue are only accessible by an up or down a step (1 step up from Winn Street into Sound Room, 2 steps into the laneway bar, we also have an addtional mobile ramp where required) Wheelchair accessible toilet are only available at nearby laneways - Bakery & California lane 100-150m away from venue, we apologise for any inconvenience Strobe lights will not be used during the event, however lights may occasionally move and a haze machine will be in use. Sensory Friendly Areas QUIVR Sound Room dancefloor & QUIVR Laneway are the loudest part of the venue. The inside bar closest to the laneway has a slighly lower volume and more bright, from midnight through to 3am the orange room is available which has couches, lowered music and dimmed lights.
