TECHNOSESSIONS 04: Dimitri Cooman (BE), Abrew

We are back. This time, we would like to introduce Dimitri Cooman. Born near Brussels, Dimitri fell in love with music at an early age. His passion for house and techno music grew when he started going out to small venues and raves at the age of 16. Soon after, he discovered one of Belgium’s major clubs, Cherry Moon, where everything changed. Impressed by “the club, the people, the music,” he quickly fell in love with the legendary “House of House.” His love for the club has remained strong ever since. During this period, he started mixing himself, playing the music he loved from his home base. For several years now, Dimitri has been an official resident and one of the driving forces behind Cherry Moon events. He runs the techno imprints Cherry Moon Records and Nachtkabarett Recordings, manages the Techno Avenue and Teknoville brands and their events, and tours throughout Belgium with both projects, while also performing at numerous techno events. His EPs and remixes have been released on Cherry Moon Records, Berlin-based Db130, Italian labels No Response Records and SMR Underground, as well as Strohm Records, Dark Distorted Signals, Bonzai, Ithica Records, Sonaxx Records, and soon on Reload Records, DIKI Records and Vibes Addikt.
