As a long-standing @BeAvantGarde resident, Bortzo has moved through Sydney’s underground circuit, appearing alongside selectors from Australia and abroad. In the opening passages and peripheral hours, his selections span ambient soundscapes, dubwise electronics, trip-hop, IDM and breaks, alongside the more cinematic reaches of microhouse. For Connect by Night, an extended set gives Bortzo space to explore those quieter and more unusual corners of his collection, gradually carrying the room from first arrival into the deeper hours of the evening.
