DERIVO: 'firewall'

‘firewall’ Firewall is an experimental sound theatre exploring security, boundaries, and difference. Drawing on Derrida’s concept of “autoimmunity,” the work examines how protection is never achieved through absolute exclusion, but through the selective admission and processing of potential threats. Four performers embody different “signals,” encountering a defensive structure that classifies, admits, suspends, or rejects them. Through sound, movement, and spatial intervention, Firewall asks how systems of security shape identity—and what is lost when protection requires everything to become uniformly processed.
