On November 21st, the Berlin based Rhythm by Nature record label lands at Hopetosse with a heavy line up of seasoned diggers. A night rooted in the deeper corners of house music. Joining us from London is the legendary Gideon Jackson — a true vinyl archivist whose legacy runs deep through the foundations of the city’s tech house movement. With releases on influential labels such as Wiggle & Swag Gideon’s contribution to the scene speaks for itself. A selector in the truest sense, a real pleasure to have him on board. Alongside him, we welcome back Tripmastaz, a Berlin-based seasoned vinyl DJ and producer. His distinctive productions have found homes on labels including Cocoon and Bass Culture, alongside co-productions with Ricardo Villalobos and DJ Sneak. His own Respect The Craft imprint continues to explore the deeper corners of underground house and minimal music, with this month also marking his Panorama Bar debut. We’re equally happy to welcome Natasha Kann, a Berlin-based vinyl selector and former://about blank resident. Drawing from a deep collection of records, she effortlessly weaves warm, complex and driving sounds, moving between house and techno with a keen attention to detail. Her appearances include respected dancefloors such as Bassiani, Heideglühen and Panorama Bar. Completing the lineup is Rhythm by Nature’s label head and resident SaPu, a dedicated vinyl selector with a growing body of work on and off the label. His latest outing sees him on remix duties for Terry Francis — a longstanding figure of the UK underground.
