Tabor Dance presents: Danse Macabre

Danse Macabre is Tabor Dance’s Halloween fundraiser, bringing the community together for a night of music, movement, and eerie celebration. Join us at REΛLM Wednesday, October 28 for an event that transforms this medieval "Dance of Death" into something joyful and communal, inviting people to dance, connect, and support Tabor Dance’s mission of making dance more accessible while uplifting local artists. As with the weekly dances, this special event will be held on Wednesday, leaving your weekend free for more spooky fun!

Mt. Tabor Dance Community is an Oregon nonprofit dedicated to making the mental, physical, and social benefits of dance more accessible while creating meaningful opportunities for local artists and community members to connect.

Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for people to safely gather, move, and experience community, Tabor Dance has grown from a small group of friends dancing together on Mt. Tabor into a 100% volunteer-run organization that serves thousands of people each year. At its core, Tabor Dance believes that dance should be welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or background.

Through community-centered dance events, Tabor Dance creates a vibrant “third place” beyond home and work where people can build relationships, express themselves, support local artists, and experience a genuine sense of belonging. Powered entirely by volunteers and shaped by the community it serves, Tabor Dance exists to bring people together through movement, creativity, and shared experience.
