Saturday September 19th - BlueRoom welcomes : Lio / Duchesse / Larah Bee Lio is a Montréal-based DJ, producer and sound artist rooted in deep, hypnotic and minimal electronic music. With over 15 years between Beirut and Montréal, his sound moves through dub techno, deep house, broken beats and warm, jazz-inflected grooves. He has played at Montréal’s SAT and Salon Daomé, as well as Tapestry in Toronto and Nomad Beach Club in Beirut. Duchesse is a Beirut-born, Montréal-based DJ and artist moving between deep house, house and minimal. Her warm, gradual sets are shaped by her background in classical ballet, guitar and music theory. She has performed at Piknic Électronik, MUTEK and Salon Daomé, and is a co-founder of the Montréal-based BOHÕ collective. Lara Bee is a Montréal-based DJ and music selector known for eclectic, groove-driven sets blending house, deep house, minimal and broken beats. She has played at Piknic Électronik, Stereo Bar, NWHR and Vino Disco, and has shared the stage with artists including Adam Port and &ME.
