KULT pres. Carl Craig

CARL CRAIG. UP CLOSE.

KULT BIRTHDAY WEEKEND — NIGHT 01

Our birthday weekend begins with Carl Craig.

On Friday, December 11th, KULT welcomes one of Detroit’s most influential electronic artists for a celebration of the music, the people and the nights that have made this club our own.
A defining figure in Detroit techno’s second wave and the founder of Planet E Communications, Craig has spent more than three decades expanding the possibilities of electronic music. From Paperclip People’s relentless “Throw” to the jazz-rooted imagination of Innerzone Orchestra’s “Bug in the Bassbin”, his work has shaped generations of producers and dancers.

His vision stretches from underground records to orchestral collaborations and immersive sound installations. Across it all runs a distinctive connection between rhythm, emotion and the possibilities of sound.

This December, that vision meets the intimacy of KULT. Close to the booth, deep in the music, sharing a dancefloor with an artist whose influence reaches across the culture we love. Expect the depth of Detroit, the physical pull of house and techno, and the instinct of a selector who knows how to make a room move.

For the opening night of our birthday weekend, we celebrate with everyone who has given KULT its energy, its character and its reason to keep going. Having Carl Craig behind the decks makes this a particularly special moment in that story.

Detroit soul. Kult’s birthday. You on the dancefloor.

CAPACITY IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 350 TICKETS.
