SLIC presents: CLUB ORIGINS with JAXX TMS, Femdelic, Nissa Carrington

SLICⓊ presents: CLUB ORIGINS

Usually, we’re all about the best of contemporary club music. For our final Pudel date of the year, we’re going back to where it all came from:

From the post-disco and boogie sounds of the late 70s and early 80s to early House, 90s dance floor and ballroom classics, this special is all about the sounds that laid the groundwork for club music as we know it today.

We’ve invited two absolute specialists to lead us through the night:
Femdelic will pick you up at the outskirts of Disco and gently lead you towards the first signs of House music.
Jaxx TMS will continue this conversation with a set honoring the classics, from Chicago, to New York, Detroit and beyond.
Our very own Nissa Carrington will end the night with a struttable set weaving all of these influences together.

And because history doesn’t just live in the music, but also the movement, we’re starting the day with a dance workshop, hosted by Meow Mondayz – More info on that soon!

Save the date, get in the mood, we’ll see u on the dancefloor!
