On Saturday, Sep 19th, CC runs it back OUTSIDE for our first proper outdoor day party! Bringing local heavyweights across all corners of the scene, expect transcendent boogie energy all the way from 2 to 10pm @ new west-end dance haven Soleil (Dundas & Dovercourt). Not to mention FREE entry before 4pm, with $8-$12 drinks and Japanese skewers from Hako - how else would you & the homies cap off a whopper of a summer? On DJ duties, we have: Junes (KR) will be making his Canadian debut, flying in from Hong Kong with a usb full of underground Korean bangers to open the floor. Razaq El Toro is recognized by many for pushing forward afro-electronic music to our city's foreground. Most recently opening for Black Coffee, he's blessed the decks of countless music venues and festivals in Toronto, including Synchro System Music Festival last year with Afrique Like Me. Catch him early as he makes his return to showcase the more experimental end of his sound palette. Lather Rinse Repeat is a veteran redefining the boundaries of what, when, and how certain sounds can be intertwined together. Formerly based in Montreal, she's played at Parquette for their massive FLIP party, as well as local favorites Layer5 and Homegrown Harvest. Her return to Toronto has been much anticipated! Orkid is a rising community mainstay making waves across Toronto's underground, bridging together music communities through her collectives Erhua and Noise Complaint. We’re absolutely stoked for her fluency in both softer, ambient and higher energy, dynamic soundscapes. Ludo is a well-known staple among local audiophiles and dancers alike. Digging deep for the craziest cuts, his curated taste extends beyond DJ'ing - shaping the programming of legendary Sounds Good for 2 years and giving CC its first club home outside of Carbonic Coffee. We can't wait for this full circle moment as he joins us for a masterclass in sunset evening grooviness.
