Paint Room Lates x Jazzy Sport

We go again. This time, stepping out from their usual home of Next Door Records, we’re bringing Jazzy Sport / Footnotes to Somerset House for a special Paint Room Lates session. Originally founded in Japan as an independent record label and network of record shops, Jazzy Sport has grown into a whole world of music, art and club culture with nights and releases spanning jazz, psychedelia, broken beat, deep house, leftfield electronica and everything in between. Now with a London branch, they’re building a bridge between the UK and Japanese music scenes, bringing that seriously eclectic spirit to Somerset House for the night. Expect deep cuts, big grooves and a journey through sound. Alongside them, Footnotes an open community in London celebrating dance and music through the lens of UK Jazz Dance — joins the session, bringing their own unique take on the culture and sounds that connect it all.
